CCC Technologies has been Pepper Construction Company's primary telecommunications service provider for over 15 years. During that time, CCC has maintained all three of our major Chicago area office systems and has installed new systems in both our downtown Chicago and Tinley Park offices.
CCC has consistently responded to our needs and has been a real partner in helping us find solutions to the challenges presented by both our growth and by changing technology. Their service personnel have consistently responded in a timely and effective fashion and [the personnel] have helped us anticipate problems rather than simply reacting to them. Their recent installation of a new switch in our Chicago office was part of an integrated upgrade of our entire office and was handled in a very timely and effective manner.

September 25, 2002 - CCC Technologies, a Chicago based company, plays a key role in enhancing the telecommunications goals of the New York Port Authority (NYPA) and Department of Design and Construction (DDC) in the final clean-up and excavation activities at Ground Zero after the 09/11/01 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center.
Earlier this year, the DDC chose Bovis Lend Lease to become the Construction Manager at the World Trade Center Ground Zero site in New York with overall responsibility for recovery, debris removal, and construction of temporary structures. When the operations facility was required to relocate in early September, CCC Technologies was the telecommunications vendor of choice to meet their requirements, applications, and critical timeframe. The project included making sure employees from BLL, and the other three contractors, Turner Construction, AMEC, and Tully Construction had necessary communication solutions to effectively complete the balance of the clean-up efforts. CCC Technologies was chosen over local firms because of telecommunications solutions, support, and experience. During the installation, these factors were very sensitive due to the pending redevelopment plans for the Ground Zero site. "It was important to prepare the area with communications solutions that would be applicable today as well as address the needs of the residential and business community's re-growth," said Lynn Heid, National Account Manager. "By developing an Avaya solution we felt confident that the technology applications that CCC applied would bring Lower Manhattan another step toward re-enforcing the community."
