The client has chosen to upgrade their current Avaya Merlin Magix to work more seamlessly with another one of their offices. This solution will not only benefit their customers by allowing associates to service clients in both Norcross, GA and Bowling Green, KY, but it will also save them money since as a gateway, they will be able to share licensing, reporting, and voicemail adjuncts that have already been deployed at the Norcross, GA location.
This means reduced maintenance and administration costs. Another great benefit is that by Norcross deploying their first gateway (which is locally survivable) they have now added additional business continuity since Bowling Green can back up Norcross in case of disaster.
The client is also looking to increase productivity through the use of IP Softphone, and Extension to Cellular features. |
